Last year we created the first Intercom world tour and thousands of you showed up. We learnt a lot about what it takes to make this happen, learnt even more about what you want, but most importantly realised there\u2019s a hunger for doing things differently.<\/p>\n
History isn\u2019t romantic. Success is never pure. This is our messy, true story.<\/p>\n
So this year we\u2019ll share stories about our company that we\u2019ve never made public before. There\u2019s so much more to Intercom\u2019s DNA than just our successes. There are failures and fuck ups of epic proportions that have formed who we are, how we work and where we\u2019re going. This is the stuff most companies don\u2019t want you to know but at year six for Intercom, we think it makes sense to intentionally start sharing it.<\/p>\n
This will be a show that\u2019s performed by a small cast of people that have built this company. There\u2019s no master of ceremonies, no presentation slides from speakers, no intervals \u2013 none of that stuff. We\u2019re paring this back to the bare bones of storytelling and performing and we\u2019re creating every piece of this year\u2019s production from scratch. From the one-off booklet that you\u2019ll take home with you, to the music that you\u2019ll hear, everything is created by us, for this show only, for you.<\/p>\n
