(<a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2017\/06\/08\/cisco-ip-traffic-shoots-up-to-3-zettabytes-by-2021-video-will-be-80-of-it\/\">Cisco, 2017<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li><strong>80%:<\/strong> Roughly 80% of all consumers can remember the video ads they&#8217;ve watched online in the last week. This is in contrast to 14% who remember the last display ad they&#8217;ve seen\u00a0(<a href=\"http:\/\/digitalcontentnext.org\/\">Digital Content Next<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Engagement<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2\/3:<\/strong> Two-thirds of consumers prefer videos under 60 seconds. Far from it. Augmented by machine learning, marketers are experimenting with personalized messages. However, there&#8217;s still a chasm between personalizing messages for audience segments, and true personalization, with messages tailored for individuals.<\/p>\n<h4>Reach<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><b>4.4%:<\/b> The total number of business and consumer emails sent and received per day will reach 269 billion, and is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 4.4% over the next four years (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.radicati.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/Email-Statistics-Report-2017-2021-Executive-Summary.pdf\">Radicati, 2017<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li><b>121:<\/b> The average office worker receives 121 emails daily, almost 50% of which is spam (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.radicati.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/Email-Statistics-Report-2017-2021-Executive-Summary.pdf\">Radicati, 2017<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Engagement<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><b>32%: <\/b>The average email open rate across all industries is 32%, but this varies widely by industry. Software has one of the lowest averages (28%) while Arts &amp; Entertainment has the highest (45%) (<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.hubspot.com\/sales\/average-email-open-rate-benchmark\">HubSpot, 2018<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li><b>10-2pm:\u00a0<\/b>Emails sent between 10-2pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays have the greatest chances of being opened, but in-apps have a remarkably consistent open rate throughout the entire week (<a href=\"https:\/\/intercom.com\/blog\/timing-is-everything-what-our-data-says-about-when-to-message-your-customers\/\">Intercom, 2017<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li><b>38:\u00a0<\/b>The character limit for email subject lines on iPhone displays is 38. However, this figure hasn\u2019t changed since 2016. About a third use Instagram, which is the fastest growing social network (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/fact-tank\/2018\/04\/10\/5-facts-about-americans-and-facebook\/\">Pew, 2018<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li><strong>1.1:<\/strong> Businesses post 1.1 times a day on average. (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rivaliq.com\/blog\/2018-social-media-industry-benchmark-report\/\">Rival IQ, 2018<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Twitter<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>93%:<\/strong> According to Twitter, 93% of all views happen on mobile (<a href=\"https:\/\/business.twitter.com\/en\/blog\/3-reasons-videos-capture-twitters-mobile-audience.html\">Twitter, 2017<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li><strong>2x:<\/strong> Tweets running over 140 characters long get twice as much engagement (likes, RTs, mentions)\u2013 good microcopy gets read, period (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.socialflow.com\/users-engage-with-longer-tweets-data-shows\/\">Socialflow, 2017<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>LinkedIn<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>3x:\u00a0<\/strong>Nearly 3% of people who click on LinkedIn posts convert to leads.
