And there are thousands of volunteers behind the scenes building technology to help us through this very unique challenge \u2013 like <a href=\"https:\/\/covidtracking.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">data aggregation sites<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coronatrace.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">infection tracing tools<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moneyduringcorona.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">gig finders for people out of work<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ppecoalition.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sites helping source protective equipment<\/a>, and more.<\/p>\n<p>These impressive efforts have been inspiring us at Intercom to ask how we can help too. And so to start with, to all those leading these projects, we\u2019ve been offering our platform free of any charge* to help them communicate with those they\u2019re serving and working with, at the great scales and efficiencies required in this crisis.<\/p>\n<p>For inspiration on how Intercom can be useful:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Healthcare startup <a href=\"https:\/\/www.solvhealth.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Solv<\/a> has partnered with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.multicare.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MultiCare<\/a>, Washington\u2019s largest community-based health system, to implement chatbots that allow individuals to self-assess their risk of having contracted the virus.<\/li>\n<li>Healthcare startup <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifen.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lifen<\/a> is using Intercom to support medical staff in France who are monitoring patients&#8217; symptoms remotely on their platform.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/coronavirus.govern.ad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">government of Andorra<\/a> is using Intercom to collect critical health information, educate their citizens about the disease, and direct them to available resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Finally, to all who\u2019ve lost loved ones and those whose health has been threatened, to all those who are caring and worrying for others in need, and to all businesses that are struggling or have had to lay off their people or close their doors, we\u2019re sending you our love. Our hearts are breaking for you; we\u2019re grieving for your losses.
