She was Google\u2019s Chief People Officer and a member of Google\u2019s executive leadership team for 4.5 years before retiring last year.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"pullquote-style-one\"><p>&#8220;The magic of Intercom&#8217;s technology is that it makes the internet feel human, which is a compelling value proposition at this stage of the digital evolution&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>She joined Google in 2006 and for 10 years was in a variety of business leadership roles including Vice President of Global Sales and Vice President and Managing Director for Google UK and Ireland \u2013 responsible for business operations in Google\u2019s second-largest market.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to that, Eileen was President of Time Magazine, President of Time Interactive and General Manager of Fortune.<\/p>\n\t<div class=\"intercom-pullquote-wrapper\" style=\"background-color: #eae6e180\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<img\n\t\t\t\tclass=\"intercom-pullquote-img\"\n\t\t\t\tsrc=\"https:\/\/www.intercom.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Eileen-Naughton-Ellipse.png\"\n\t\t\t\talt=\"\"\n\t\t\t\/>\n\t\t\t\t<span class=\"intercom-pullquote-text\">\n\t\t\t\t\u201cThe magic of Intercom&#8217;s technology is that it makes the internet feel human, which is a compelling value proposition at this stage of the digital evolution. I&#8217;m excited to join Intercom&#8217;s board of directors and work directly with Karen and the executive team.&#8221; Eileen Naughton\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\n<p>Eileen has tremendous board experience, serving on the boards of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zscaler.com\/company\/about-zscaler\">ZScaler<\/a>, the leading cloud-based network security company; <a href=\"https:\/\/oliveai.com\/our-story\/\">Olive AI<\/a>, a company building AI solutions to automate healthcare administration; global alternative asset manager <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aresmgmt.com\/\">Ares Management<\/a>; and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecenterfordiscovery.org\/leadership-board\/\">Center for Discovery<\/a>, a learning, living, and research center that transforms the lives of people with disabilities.
