Your Smart Campaign goal is the action you’d like your customers to take after receiving one or more messages from your campaign. For example, if you’d like your free users to sign up to your Pro plan you could set your campaign goal as ‘Plan is Pro.’
How do campaign goals work?
- As soon as a user hits a smart campaign goal during the campaign (for example, as soon as they upgrade to their Pro plan) they are exited from the campaign.
- Campaign goals also account for actions users take before entering the campaign. For example, if your campaign goal is for users to have more than 3 web sessions, and some users already had 2 web sessions before entering the campaign, they’ll only need one more web session to hit the goal.
- For a user to hit the goal of a particular message, the user must have opened the message.
