Catalogs (folders that contain multiple courses) do not show a "completed" badge, unless they are set up as part of a learning path we’ve set up.
You may see some courses marked as "complete" while others, like "Train" - which is a catalog in our Fin Academy - do not show this badge — even if you have finished all the courses inside.
How completion badges work
Individual courses
Each course will display a "completed" badge once you finish all its lessons.
Example: If you complete all lessons in the courses like “Training Fin with…”, the course will show as complete.
Catalogs
Catalogs are folders that group several courses together.
Catalogs do not display a "completed" badge, even if you finish every course inside, unless the catalog is part of a learning path.
Example: The "Train" catalog below contains four courses:
Training Fin with content
Training Fin with Guidance
Training Fin with Tasks
Fin Tasks example library
Each of these courses will show as complete when finished, but the "Train" catalog itself will not display a "completed" badge.
Why does this happen?
The system is designed to track completion at the course level, not the catalog (folder) level.
Only learning paths (courses that have to be completed in a certain order to register as completed) can display a "completed" badge when all included courses are finished inside a catalog.

How can I track my progress for a group of courses?
Check the completion status of each course inside the catalog (or the folder with the courses in it). For Intercom Academy courses, if you’re in doubt about your completion status, you can get in touch with our Academy team through the Messenger in the bottom right corner of your screen, and we can verify this for you.

What is a learning path?
A learning path is a structured sequence of courses. When you complete all courses in a learning path, the system will display a "completed" badge for the entire path.
