You can seamlessly sync your Freshdesk knowledge base with Intercom, giving Fin AI Agent and Copilot instant access to your support content. By connecting Freshdesk, your team can deliver faster, more accurate answers using your existing articles.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to connect your Freshdesk account and show you how to set up and manage the content sync with ease.
How to sync Freshdesk content
Navigate to Fin AI Agent > Train > Content and select See all below the "Add content" section, then click From Freshdesk.
Enter your Freshdesk domain and API key, then click Sync.
Once the sync is complete, your Freshdesk content will be available for Fin and Copilot to use (if enabled).
Technical details:
The Freshdesk sync preserves the structure of your Freshdesk knowledge base (categories, folders, articles).
Only published articles are imported (drafts are skipped).
Multi-language support and filtering by category, folder, or article are available.
The process uses the Freshdesk Solutions API v2 and requires your API key and domain.
Tips:
If you need to find your Freshdesk domain, it's the first part of your Freshdesk URL. For example, if your Freshdesk URL is
https://company.freshdesk.com, your subdomain iscompany.To find your API key, log in to your Freshdesk account. Click your profile icon in the top right corner and select Profile settings. On the right side of the screen, you will find and can copy your API key. You may need to complete a captcha to view it.
