Anna Griffin is the CMO of Intercom, where she leads the Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Demand Generation, and Growth teams to amplify Intercom’s voice in the market, establish the company as a leader in customer communications, and accelerate demand and revenue growth. She has over 25 years of experience as a senior marketing executive in agency, brand, and global marketing leadership positions, spanning consumer goods to enterprise. She focuses primarily on business transformation, with a proven record in strategic positioning, go-to-market strategy, and global creation and design of marketing programs.

She has helped position, build, and promote campaigns for global brands such as Apple, Sony, Saturn, Lands’ End, Juniper Networks, CA Technologies, and Smartsheet.Previously, Anna was CMO for Smartsheet (NYSE: SMAR), where she led strategic repositioning and rebranding that helped the company grow from $200M to $500M in ARR,  growing 40-50% YoY and raising their market cap to $8-9B. She was also SVP of Marketing at CA Technologies, a $5B global enterprise software company focused on Agile, Dev Ops, and security solutions and VP of marketing at Juniper Networks. As someone who hinges success on mentoring strong internal teams, she has championed and led DEI initiatives across the industry, and was a founding member of the #SeeHer initiative with the ANA, the Female Quotient, and the White House to eliminate gender biases in media.

Anna is a graduate of East Carolina University with a B.S. in Marketing, and has been the recipient of many notable marketing awards, including the Golden Effies, Best BTB campaigns of the year, the Advertising of Women of New York’s Game Changer of the Year, and the Edgar R. Murrow award for social media. She’s spent her career honing communication strategies and delivering stories that engage and inspire customers.
