View your current billing period
To view your current billing period, go to Settings > Subscription > Billing > This billing period.
This billing period tab shows what you can expect on your next invoice — including additional usage charges incurred during this billing period, and any subscription payments that may be due on your next billing date.
If you have multiple workspaces, your usage is counted across all workspaces. Any workspace can contribute to additional usage charges.
For customers on a contract, this section only displays metrics that have exceeded the monthly usage included in your contract. All usage (including your contracted amount) can be found by clicking See all usage.
View all usage for the current billing period
To see all your usage for the current billing period, go to Settings > Subscription > Usage.
The current total reflects the total amount on your upcoming invoice. This can include both monthly subscriptions and any additional usage charges during this billing period.
The metrics shown in the graphs (e.g. 252 Bulk Emails Sent) represent your total usage for this period.
The prices shown represent the additional usage charges you’ve incurred, and they match the amounts listed under This billing period (and what you'll see on your invoice).

View your subscription details
To view details for your monthly, quarterly, or annual subscription, go to Settings > Subscription > Billing > Subscription.
The Subscription tab provides an overview of your plan and any contracted usage or add-ons, along with their associated costs.
If you have multiple workspaces, your subscription usage is counted across all workspaces. Any workspace can contribute to additional usage charges.
If you're currently on a trial, you'll see the plan and add-ons included in your trial subscription, and how many days of the free trial are remaining.
See features included in your subscription
To see which features are included in your current subscription, go to Settings > Subscription > Billing > Subscription and select See included features next to your plan.
Upgrade or downgrade your plan
Monthly/yearly subscriptions
If you pay monthly/yearly for your subscription (not on a contract), you can make changes to your subscription from Settings > Subscription > Billing > Subscription.
Simply click Change plan to compare plans and then select the plan you'd like to upgrade or downgrade to.
Note:
Upgrades will be enabled immediately and billed on a prorated basis.
For monthly plans, downgrades typically take effect before the next billing cycle. If the deadline for the current billing cycle has passed, you can still make changes that will take effect in the next cycle. Any unused time or reductions (e.g., reducing full seats) will be credited toward the following billing period.
Downgrades from a monthly plan with lite seats to one without (e.g. from Advanced to Essential) will convert all lite seats to full seats.
For annual plans, downgrades will be scheduled when your subscription is due to renew.
If you're currently on a contract and would like to upgrade or downgrade to another plan, chat to your Account Manager.
If you pay yearly and downgrade your plan, you'll see that the change is scheduled when your subscription is due to renew. While upgrading or adding features is possible mid-contract and will take effect immediately, reducing features or downgrading your plan is only possible at the end of your annual contract term.
Managing add-ons
From the Subscription tab you can also:
Add or remove add-ons
Switch from a monthly to an annual plan
After you purchase Copilot unlimited usage for 1 or more full seats on your plan, you can then assign the unlimited usage to your teammates.
Note:
Add-ons will be enabled immediately and billed on a prorated basis.
If you're on a contract, you'll need to speak to your Account Manager about adding or removing add-ons.
Managing seats
To add or remove seats from your subscription, you'll need to go to Settings > Workspace > Teammates and add a teammate which adds a seat, or remove a teammate which removes a seat (unless it's contracted - see below). When removing a teammate:
Click Edit next to their name.
Click Remove Teammate.
You'll be given options to reassign their conversations to another teammate.
Any unassigned messages will move to the 'Unassigned' inbox.
Note:
If you remove a teammate who was using a seat you've already paid for the year, you'll still be charged for this seat until your next renewal.
For monthly plans, removing teammates adjusts your invoice to reflect the reduced seat count moving forward, with charges prorated based on when the seat was removed.
For annual contracts, seats can be added anytime during the year, but reducing the number of seats is only available at the end of the annual contract term.
Switching between full and lite seats
You can also change seat types (e.g., from full to lite seats) to optimize your subscription in Settings > Workspace > Teammates. After adjusting your seats, you'll be able to confirm subscription details and billing changes.
Contracted subscriptions
If you're on a contract, you can view your current contracted usage from Settings > Subscription > Billing > Subscription.
You’ll see the total quantity included for your billing period (e.g., yearly, quarterly, or monthly), along with the monthly allocation available to you.
You can add more seats/teammates or increase usage during the month. Any usage beyond your contracted amount will appear as additional usage under This billing period.
If a discount has been applied, it will be shown. All displayed prices reflect the discounted rate.
Note: If you’re on a contract and need to make changes to your subscription—such as removing seats, adjusting add-ons, or updating your contracted usage—reach out through the Messenger and type “Talk to a person” to speak to your Account Manager.
