Rebuilding the same report filters every session is slow — especially when you compare the same teams, channels, or tags week after week. Saved filters let you save any filter combination as a named preset and apply it to any custom report in one click, shared across your whole workspace.
Note: You'll need the "Can access Reports" permission to view or use saved filters.
Save a filter
You can save your current filter selection directly from any custom report's filter bar.
Open a custom report and apply the filters you want to save.
Click the Saved filters bookmark icon in the filter bar, next to + Add filter.
Click Save current filters. (This is disabled until at least one filter is applied.)
Give the filter combination a name. The chips shown are read-only and reflect exactly which filters are being saved.
Click Save. The new saved filter appears at the top of the list.
Note: The report's date range is never captured. Saved filters hold only the attribute filters, so applying one never overwrites the time period you've selected.
Apply a saved filter
You can apply a saved filter to any custom report in one click.
Open any custom report.
Click the Saved filters bookmark icon in the filter bar.
Click any saved filter in the list to apply it.
Applying a saved filter replaces the report's current filters wholesale — it doesn't merge with or append to what's already there. The report's date range is left unchanged.
Note: Applying a saved filter is in-memory only. If you reload the page, the report reverts to its own saved filters. To make filters persist on a specific report, apply them in edit mode and save the report.
Manage saved filters
To view and manage all saved filters for your workspace, go to Reports > Saved filters.
The manage page shows every saved filter in the workspace with the following columns:
Column | Description |
Name | The name given to the saved filter. |
Filters | A plain-language summary of the filter chips included. |
Last used | When the filter was last applied by anyone in the workspace (not just you). |
Actions | Edit (rename and change filters) or Delete (with confirmation). |
To create a new saved filter from scratch — without starting from a report's current filter bar — click New saved filter. This opens the same filter picker used in reports, so anything you can filter a report by can be saved.
Visibility and permissions
Saved filters are shared across the whole workspace. Any teammate with reporting access can view, apply, edit, rename, and delete any saved filter.
Teammates without reporting access ("Can access Reports" permission) won't see the Saved filters nav item or manage page.
Last used reflects the last time anyone in the workspace applied the filter — not just you.
Saved filter names must be unique. If a name already exists, you'll see: "A saved filter with this name already exists."
Note: The delete confirmation states: "Deleting this saved filter will remove it for everyone in your workspace." Deletion is permanent — there's no restore.
Limitations
No inbox filter. There's no inbox reporting attribute available, so an inbox-scoped saved filter isn't possible yet.
Applied filters don't survive a page refresh. Applying is in-memory only. Refreshing the page restores the report's own saved filters, discarding the applied saved filter.
Incompatible attributes fail silently. If a saved filter attribute isn't supported by the target report's dataset, the chip is accepted but charts fall to a "This chart has no data" empty state. No error or warning is shown.
Saved filters are report-level only. Per-chart (metric-level) saved filters aren't supported yet.
Scheduled and exported reports don't use saved filters. Scheduled deliveries and exports carry the report's own filters, not any applied saved filter.
