Promotional Offer Terms

These Offer Terms (“Offer Terms”) apply to Intercom’s promotional offer (the “Offer”). By redeeming or using the Offer, you agree to these Offer Terms and to comply with the Intercom Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference.

1. Offer Summary

Eligible new self-serve customers may receive a promotional discount on the Seat, as provided in Intercom’s Pricing and Plans, for an eligible Intercom subscription for a limited period of time (the “Discount Period”), as presented on Intercom’s website at the time of self-serve checkout, subject to the requirements below.

The amount of the discount and the duration of the Discount Period will be presented by Intercom at the time of the Offer and at checkout.

2. Eligibility

You are eligible only if:

  • You are a new customer (first-time paid subscription for the workspace, billing entity, or any affiliated entity under common ownership or control, as determined by Intercom); and
  • You purchase via self-serve checkout on Intercom’s website (not sales-led or sales-assisted); and
  • You redeem the Offer presented by Intercom within the Claim Window.

Intercom may exclude certain customers or scenarios at its discretion, including without limitation to prevent fraud, abuse, or circumvention of the eligibility criteria.

3. Claim Window

The Offer must be redeemed before the end of the eligibility period specified in the Offer (the “Claim Window”). The Offer is only valid where presented by Intercom and is no longer available once the Claim Window expires.

4. What the Discount Applies To

  • The discount applies to Seat charges only, unless otherwise specified by Intercom at checkout.
  • The discount does not apply to add-ons, usage-based components, taxes, fees, or other charges unless explicitly stated.
  • The discount applies to eligible charges before taxes.

5. Discount Period, Renewals, and Standard Pricing

  • The Discount Period begins on the date you complete checkout while eligible and lasts for the duration specified at checkout.
  • After the Discount Period ends, your subscription continues at Intercom’s then-current standard list price unless you cancel in accordance with your subscription terms.

6. Redemption Method

The Offer is automatically applied at checkout for eligible customers, unless otherwise specified. No promo code is required. Intercom’s determination of eligibility at checkout is final.

7. Restrictions

  • Limit one (1) redemption per eligible workspace, billing entity, or affiliated entity.
  • Not combinable with other promotions, discounts, credits, or coupons unless explicitly permitted.
  • No cash value; non-transferable; non-refundable except as required by law.

8. Fraud/Abuse; Modification or Termination

Intercom may void redemptions, withhold the discount, or suspend access if Intercom reasonably suspects fraud, misuse, or eligibility violations, including after redemption. Intercom may limit or adjust the application of the discount where usage patterns are inconsistent with the intended use of the Offer.

9. Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes associated with your purchase. The discount applies before taxes unless stated otherwise.

10. Plan or Seat Changes During the Discount Period

You may upgrade or downgrade your Intercom plan during the Discount Period in accordance with Intercom’s standard billing terms. The discount will continue to apply to eligible Seat(s) charges for the remainder of the Discount Period regardless of any plan or Seat change. Any charges for add-ons, usage-based components, or other items outside the discount scope, will be billed at Intercom’s then-current standard list price(s) rate applicable to your new plan.

11. Automatic Renewal — Important Notice

AUTOMATIC RENEWAL NOTICE: Your Intercom subscription will automatically renew at the end of the Discount Period at Intercom’s then-current standard list price, unless you cancel before the renewal date in accordance with your Intercom subscription terms. You can cancel at any time by visiting your account settings.

Residents of California, New York, Illinois, and other US states with automatic renewal laws:

By purchasing this subscription you acknowledge that:

(a) these automatic renewal terms have been presented to you clearly before purchase;

(b) your subscription will automatically renew at Intercom’s then-current standard list price after the Discount Period ends; and

(c) you may cancel at any time before the applicable renewal date to avoid being charged at the standard rate. Cancellation instructions are available at intercom.com/help.

Residents of the European Union and United Kingdom:

This paragraph constitutes the pre-contractual information required under applicable consumer protection law. Your subscription will renew automatically at Intercom’s then-current standard list price following the end of the Discount Period. You have the right to cancel your subscription at any time before the renewal date. Details of your right to cancel and how to exercise it are set out in the Intercom Terms of Service and at intercom.com/help.

12. Governing Law

These Offer Terms are governed by the same governing law and dispute resolution provisions set out in the Intercom Terms of Service.
