L. David Kingsley is the Chief People Officer at Intercom, where he is responsible for leading the company’s global People team, including Talent Acquisition; Onboarding; Learning and Development; HR Business Partners; Total Rewards; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; and Workplace Experience. David brings over 20 years of experience building motivated, highly-engaged teams and helping companies develop and refine value-driven programs.
Most recently, David was the Chief People Officer at Alteryx (NYSE: AYX), leading its most significant strategic evolution and hiring period in the company’s history across a global footprint in 18 countries. While at Alteryx, David introduced the Social Impact function, championed the company’s core values refresh, introduced new wellness tools and initiatives, and expanded the organization’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in partnership with their employee resource groups. Prior to Alteryx, David was the Chief People Officer at Vlocity, scaling the company, leading up to and through the company’s acquisition by Salesforce. He’s also served in leadership roles at Mulesoft, Salesforce, Accenture, and Booz Allen.
David holds an M.A. in Organizational Sciences from George Washington University, and a B.A. in International Relations from Catholic University. He is a retired Lieutenant from the U.S. Navy Reserve and lives with his family in Newport Beach, California.
